You are CORDIALLY invited to the FIRST ANNUAL Boston Tee Party, presented by Electric Cure Radio, which is taking place this August in Boston! Whether you’re a designer, artist, indie t-shirt owner or simply a lover of t-shirts, we want you to  join us at this great event!

What is it?

The Boston Tee Party is a way for indie brands, artists and designers to come together to showcase their work while networking and meeting peers, retailers and customers.

When is it?

August 11th, 2012.

Speakers – 12pm-3pm (open to public with proper ticket)

Expo/Bands – 4pm-9pm (open to public with proper ticket)

Where is it?

The event will be held at the Carson Place Facility at the Boston Teacher’s Union Hall. The address is 180 Mt Vernon Street, Dorchester MA 02125. Their website is: Boston Teacher’s Union Hall

What’s the cost?

What’s happening at this event?

That is PART ONE of the event. We will then have about an hour to set up the expo tables/booths. This will give brands, artists and designers enough time to get their inventory out for viewing and give our first entertainer time to set up.

Info for VENDORS:

How much space will vendors have?

Each vendor will have a space of 8 feet (wide) by 9 feet (deep), with a foot of empty space on either side of you, making the entire space 10×9. There are tables available, but you are urged to bring your own table if you can, as there are only 24 tables available (no longer than 8 feet long).

Please let me know if you need a table. First come, first served.

You can reserve your expo space NOW. Click HERE to go to make your reservation! The expo tables will be $70 for an 8 foot table. There will be a maximum amount of tables allowed to be set up, so make sure you reserve your table today! Once they’re sold out, they’re sold out!

This is a great price for this event! Confirm today!

IF YOU DO RESERVE AN EXPO TABLE, this will also get you in to see the speakers, there will be no extra cost for that.

IF YOU DO NOT RESERVE AN EXPO TABLE, you can reserve a ticket to see our speakers and attend the expo event, you just will not be able to set up your inventory at the Tee Party.

Who will our entertainment be at the event?

Get on over and like them on their Facebook pages!

Here are the confirmed brands for the event (so far):

The event will start to wind down sometime around 9pm and we’ll make sure we’re cleared out by 10pm.

Also, we are in DESPERATE need of donations and sponsors, so please spread the word about this event to your family and friends and urge them to help out in any way they can!

Finally, we are having a 50/50 raffle! Proceeds from both of these will go to a local charity here in Boston, Birthday Wishes! This is a charity close to my heart and one that I have worked with for quite a few years now. Birthday Wishes brings birthday parties to homeless children! Please visit their website today!

Want to get into the event for FREE?

(NOTE: once the event is at capacity, we cannot let any more people in, even if you’ve brought items in to donate)

Donate some items for Birthday Wishes at the door! Here’s what they need:

  • Juice boxes
  • Birthday-themed wrapping paper
  • Label maker
  • Washable markers and sketch pads
  • Preschool musical instruments: maracas, tambourines, shakers, etc.
  • Teenage pocket/hand games or card games

If you would like to donate anything for our charity raffle, please contact me via the contact form below! You don’t have to be a t-shirt brand to contribute!

Hopefully this will answer some burning questions, if you have any other, please ask them below and we will update this post with those answers!

Thank you and hope to see you there!

  1. Wow, I might just fly out if I have the cheese for it later this year. I love art festivals in general, but this looks at least 10 steps above that 😀
