Summer 2014 has a lot in store for The Dead Daisies. They not only have their single “Face I Love” and its accompanying app coming out on June 24th, but their Face I Love EP will be released on August 5th, AND they just announced summer tour dates with the likes of KISS and Def Leppard. These dates will be taking place after shows with Bad Company and Lynyrd Skynyrd.

This group has a rotating line-up that is inclusive of noteworthy Rock musicians whose sounds are heavily influenced by hard rock from the late 70s and early 80s. This year’s star 2014 lineup consists of Jon Stevens (Noisworks/INXS) on vocals, David Lowy (Mink/Red Phoenix) on guitar, Richard Fortus (Guns N’Roses/Psychedelic Furs) on lead guitar, Marco Mendoza (Thin LIzzy/Whitesnake) on bass, Dizzy Reed (Guns N’ Roses/Hookers & Blow) on keys, and the latest addition, Brian Tichy (Ozzy Osbourne/Billy Idol) on drums.

Their tour with Kiss and Def Leppard will be dedicated to their fans in the armed services by partnering with a number of military organizations. In doing so, military personnel will be given priority exclusive access to discounted tickets and a portion of ticket sales and money raised will be going towards military charities and non-profit organizations.

On June 24th, The Dead Daisies’ EP will be available for pre-order and the band will be releasing their single “The Face I Love” as well as their “Face I Love” Facebook App. This app will give their fans the opportunity to upload a picture of a face of someone they love that will be used to create a photo-mosaic of The Daisies skull and make it bloom.

Will all that’s in store, this summer will undoubtedly be the start of a busy year for The Dead Daisies.
