Let’s swing the spotlight onto another indie artist, shall we? Today we’re taking a closer look at Boston based indie singer Ariel Strasser! Ariel hasn’t always lived in Boston, she comes to us by way of the Twin Cities in Minnesota, but studied Musical Theater at the Boston Conservatory and hasn’t been able to drag herself away from the city. Ariel helped pilot a songwriting program in her senior year of college, and she points to that as the jumping off point for her career.

In November of 2013, she released her debut full-length album called Crooked Line, and hopefully we’ll see some new music from her soon.

She has been grateful to play shows with artists such as: Chris Trapper, Lucy Wainwright Roche, Suzzy Roche, Nick Young and also our friends Antigone Rising.

Give a listen to some of her music, and be sure to follow her at the links below!
