It’s time to shine that spotlight on another indie musician, and this time we’re taking a closer look at rock / blues singer Emily Zuzik. Currently based in Los Angeles, Emily is a veteran of live performances from Los Angeles to New York.  This past November, Emily released her EP called Detours, a collaboration with television and film composer Art Hays. Detours represents this collaborative team who have both taken life detours from when they initially began writing together in NYC.

Zuzik is an Epiphone/Gibson Guitars Endorsed Artist. Her songs have been licensed for the upcoming Sundance Selects release Free the Nipple and indie festival favorite Spring, El Rey Network’s Matador, CW show Smallville, MTV’s hit Catfish, The Nate Berkus Show, the fashion reality show, XOXO Betsey Johnson, BRAVO’s Flipping Out, National Geographic Channel’s indie wrestling doc, Slammed, Amsale Girls, the Cuba Gooding Jr. film Ticking Clock and the indie film Fifth Form.
