Tour Announcement and New Music Video: Milo Greene

Last week, Milo Greene premiered their “Lie To Me” video,  the first single off of the band’s brand new album CONTROL. This album sees the band evolve from their folky debut on 2012’s MILO GREENE to a more danceable, electronic-pop sound on CONTROL.  In a recent interview with LA Weekly, Greene’s Andrew Heringer says, “With the four of us, there’s a lot of ideas and inspirations.  We bought new toys, synthesizers and played with different kinds of drum samples and grooves. At times on the first record, we were protective of this baby. There was a different agenda from what we wanted to start this record.”  Graham Fink adds, “The sound has evolved, but this band is the four of us as writers and singers. It’s very centered both on our vocal presences and our identities as writers. We come from different perspectives, so that cross-section is what makes us distinct from what we would be as individuals. It’s the sum of the parts thing.”

The band hits the road on their North American headline tour that kicks off this week at Santa Barbara’s soHo with stops at SXSW, SASQUATCH! Music Festival and Forecastle Festival. More festival dates to be announced soon.
