Bourbon Blues Ensemble describe themselves as ‘Blues with a twist.’
“The ensemble started in 2014 when singer/songwriter Lanch invites guitarist Fernz and bassist Alessandro Bergamo to record a song with a bluesy feeling. As soon as they finished this song they realized that “the time was right to create blues sounds.” The band was soon joined by Pianist Jonathan Stephens, who spiced up the mix with his powerful and classic style playing.”
“They started to try new instruments like cigar box guitar and harmonica, and started writing music that would eventually become their first production: Vol. 1. The sound of the ensemble is inspired by blues musicians from Robert Johnson, Buddy Guy, BB King, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Clapton to John Mayer.
The Bourbon Blues Ensemble Vol. 1 record is a 10 track album filled with feeling, sadness and joy. With the album recorded and mixed the ensemble is getting ready to play live in venues and blues festivals.”
