Common Miner is a singer-songwriter from Seattle, WA. He wrote and recorded the full 10 song album, called The Match That Stayed Lit, playing all the instruments (guitar, bass, drums, singing, etc.) himself.

‘The songs’ styles vary from sparse acoustic songs to energetic, melodic electric guitar-based tunes, and could be compared to Elliott Smith, Red House Painters/Sun Kil Moon, Death Cab for Cutie, Sufjan Stevens, etc.’
