New from Nashville-based indie electro-pop singer Fleurie (aka: Lauren Strahm) is an EP called Arrows, which has just dropped.

This project has been years in the making, with many of the songs written during Fleurie’s time spent abroad in Australia. Growing up in Canton, MI, Lauren studied classical piano from an early age, and later developed her love of music while attending school in Australia. Once she moved to Nashville, her professional career as a songwriter began to take shape. With the help of producer Matt Stanfield, and the mixing work of Dave Schiffman (Haim, Charli XCX, Brandon Flowers), Fleurie’s Arrows EP came to life.

Go give it a listen, I do not think that you’ll be disappointed!

Regarding the title of the EP, Lauren says, “I called this collection of songs Arrows because while writing for this record I kept coming back to the theme of arrows, and the many ways they’re represented in our lives. At the core, arrows can pierce us and affect us for good or bad. I believe songs, words, and melodies are arrows. I see in my own heart arrows representing love, joy, excitement, wonder, and pain. I hope this record reaches people as arrows of hope and light in their lives.”
