Time to shine the spotlight onto another great indie band, and this time we’re sharing a band with you based in Boston called blindspot. You may recognize the name, as they are part of our first compilation CD: The Indie Scene… and Beyond, Volume One.
blindspot is a female-fronted, three piece rock band from Lowell, MA. They have been together for 2 years and are influenced by artists such as U2, The Killers, Muse, Paramore, Led Zeppelin, Coldplay, Arcade Fire, Kings of Leon, and Aerosmith. Their unique sound, passion, and drive for their music make them stand out against other musicians of their age. blindspot has opened for internationally known professional bands such as Gin Blossoms, Buckcherry, Puddle of Mudd, Scott Weiland of Stone Temple Pilots, Finger Eleven, Saving Abel, Smile Empty Soul, and Tantric. They are trying to gain as much exposure as possible in order to expand their fan base and have people hear their music.
I’ve been fortunate enough to catch two of their live shows, and I can tell you that they put on a great show and leave it all up on the stage when they’re done.
