Firestarter #9 by Milan To Minsk.

Brooklyn-based indie art pop band, Milan To Minsk, have released a new track called “Firestarter #9,” which we are happy to premiere for you all here today on Indie Minded. The new track will appear on their upcoming release, Welcome To Hitler, dropping later this year.

Milan To Minsk started as a collection of songs about immigration and bureaucracy written by Daniel Rote in 2013, around the time he was getting ready to leave his home country of Israel indefinitely. In Brooklyn he met bass player Ran Livneh and drummer Uri Zelig, both fellow Israeli indie-scene exiles, when the three were hired as the backing band for a local folk singer, and in mid 2015 the three joined forces trumpet and keyboard player, Cody Rowlands, and started playing together as Milan to Minsk.

Check out the new track, and be sure to let us know what you think!
