Summertime Story by Chris Ruediger
We are thrilled to bring you the debut single from 17 year old, Boston-based indie pop country artist Chris Ruediger called “Summertime Story,” which just dropped today.
With a bold and unique voice combined with an uplifting stage presence far beyond his years, seventeen year old singer/songwriter Chris Ruediger from Concord, MA, is already making his mark on the local music scene. Chris has diverse musical interests and a strong passion for pop and pop country sounds. He began his training on the piano then found his way when he picked up the acoustic guitar five years ago. As a young teenager, Chris began going to local open mics to share his talent. Over the past few years, Chris has become a rising star around the Boston area with performances at restaurants, private parties, events, and many local venues. He’s performed on stages around New England including at the Hard Rock Café in Boston and has opened for acts like the Butler Frogs and The Meanies.
“Summertime Story” is about precious moments of summer with someone special. While it’s written from the view of a young couple, the powerful imagery and experiences of the song are relatable, evoking the joyful feelings of early love for listeners of every age — and perhaps even a few memories of their own. With a catchy chorus and uplifting message, the song encourages the listener to paint their own “story” on a blank canvas, living every day to the fullest.
Give the debut track a listen, and let us know what you think. I’m looking forward to seeing what else Ruediger has up his sleeves for us next! With a voice that is reminiscent to Patrick Monahan from Train, Reudiger can easily have a long, successful career ahead of him.
