Listen: Empty House/Falling Out Of Love by Aloud
Empty House/Falling Out of Love by Aloud
We are thrilled to bring you the new double-A side 7″single “Empty House / Falling Out Of Love” from former Boston-based, now Los Angeles-bound (no, seriously…. they’re LITERALLY making their way out west as I type this) indie rock-soul band Aloud. These two tracks will give you a small taste of how much this band can stretch, musically. I urge you to give them a listen if you have never heard Aloud before.
“Empty House” features vocals by Henry Beguiristain, one half of the songwriting team that makes up two-fourths of Aloud, and is a kick-you-in-the-face rock track that will have you hitting repeat after the first listen. Not to be overshadowed, “Falling Out Of Love” turns the helm over to Jen de la Osa, the other half of the songwriting team, and switches gears to show off their rock n’ soul / blues chops. Both songs come together to showcase the band in a perfect way, and will leave you wanting more.
“Aloud is a four-piece rock n’ roll band from Boston, Massachusetts, co-fronted by husband and wife songwriting team Henry Beguiristain and Jen de la Osa. De la Osa and Beguiristain have written and performed together since they were teenagers growing up in Miami, Florida. Over the years, they have created a catalog of songs wide in range, but always anchored by the 60s soul and rock music they grew up on—with a particular affection for harmonies—and backed up by bassist Charles Murphy and drummer Chuck Ferreira.” (website)
