Francis and The Lights Live at Boston Calling
Francis and The Lights played the Red Stage on night one of May 2017’s installment of the Boston Calling Music Festival, and our photographer, Gary Alpert, was in the pit for every minute. Take a look at his photos and be sure to check out some of their music! His set took place on May 26, 2017.
“Boston Calling Music Festival is a three-day, multi-stage festival featuring performances from some of the biggest names in music, comedy, and art. It began in 2013 at City Hall Plaza in downtown Boston, and after seven successful and critically acclaimed installations, the festival moved to the Harvard Athletic Complex in Allston in order to expand programming. It was held over Memorial Day weekend, 2017. The festival is primarily an indie and pop rock festival; past performers have included Jack Johnson, Fun, Vampire Weekend, Beck, Pixies, Alabama Shakes, and Ben Harper.”
“Boston Calling works with many non-profit groups, including Children’s Hospital of Boston to direct funds, experiences, and tickets to groups that can benefit from such distributions.”
