Girl On A Unicycle by Gene Dante and the Future Starlets

We’ve got the new video from Boston-based glam rock outfit Gene Dante and the Future Starlets for the track “Girl On A Unicycle,” which you can check out below.

“‘Girl On A Unicycle’ is a story of a woman at the crossroads – of her relationship, her life, and her future. Inspired by the real-life friend, whose strength and resolve was the driving force for this story, it set in step the theme for what would be a dedication to women everywhere.”

You may recognize the muse in the video, it’s none other than Gretchen Bonaduce (from “Breaking Bonaduce” fame). She agreed to appear in Dante’s video when she was in Boston visiting.

“About the special guests, Dante says, ‘The women are all women I personally know. No hired models posing as friends or family.  Many of them had never been on a video set before.

I invited as many women as could come – many who’d never met each other before – and we shot their scenes in an afternoon at John Eye’s Beach House Studios. The direction was simple: come as yourself and just be yourself.  No script. Just getting different women together. I know a few new friendships were born on that set. Even my mother and godmother are among the women in the video, which makes me immensely proud.'”
