Noname Live at Boston Calling Music Festival

Chicago-based Noname took the stage on day one of May 2018’s installment of the Boston Calling Music Festival, and our photographer, Gary Alpert, was in the pit for every minute.

If you’re not familiar with the Boston Calling Music Festival, it is a three-day, multi-stage festival featuring sets from some of the biggest names in music, comedy, and art. It started back in 2013 in downtown Boston but has since moved over to Allston, taking place at the Harvard Athletic Complex.

This year, as always, it was held during Memorial Day weekend, 2018. The festival is primarily an indie and pop rock festival; past performers have included Jack Johnson, Fun, Vampire Weekend, Beck, Pixies, Alabama Shakes, and Ben Harper.

“Boston Calling works with many non-profit groups, including Children’s Hospital of Boston to direct funds, experiences, and tickets to groups that can benefit from such distributions.”
