Brooklyn-based duo Belle Mare has released a new single called “Spain,” which will appear on their upcoming EP Liars, due out October 19th. The new EP will feature five tracks with a dreamy, shoegaze feel, and “Spain” falls right into that.

Belle Mare is made up of longtime friends Thomas Servidone and Amelia Bushell, who met at the now-defunct Bar 4 in Park Slope. From their humble beginnings recording songs in the confines of a Brooklyn bedroom to the expansive sounds produced at the famed Electric Lady Studios, they’ve managed to maintain their stark minimalism in conjunction with the sincerity and fragility of Bushell’s vocals.

Check out “Spain” and be sure to let us know what you think!
