Sydney-based indie garage-rock band The Buoys have released a brand new track called “Arm Wrestle,” which will appear on their sophomore EP, Split Lip, which we should see later this year.

Arm Wrestle came to me when I had to address the reality of a situation. I had to explore if my thoughts were rational, or if I was making things up in my head and self-sabotaging. It details that inner voice argument of, ‘something really bad is going down’ vs ‘don’t be silly, it’s all in your head, you’re crazy’. It’s an exploration of what it’s like to gaslight yourself really, only to find out your gut was right and you weren’t paranoid after all.” – Zoe

We’ve all been there, right? I always say, go with your gut! Give the new track a listen, and be sure to let us know what you think. I’m looking forward for more from The Buoys, and if you are too, keep your eyes and ears here!
