Los Angeles-based (by way of Miami & Boston) indie soul-rock band Aloud are back with a brand new single called ‘Son of the Dharma,’ streaming above.

Husband and wife team Henry Beguiristain and Jen de la Osa have been driving the band since they were teenagers back in Miami. They became a staple in the Boston music scene where they connected with Charles Murphy, their bassist. Rounding out the band is their drummer, Chris Jago who ties it all together nicely. Recently, they relocated again, this time to Los Angeles, where they have truly come into their own as a band.

Jen de la Osa had this to say about ‘Son of the Dharma’ via Groundsounds –

I was reading a biography on Jack Kerouac and thought, this all sounds romantic, but in reality this is probably the guy at the party you’d avoid. We put that character against a chaotic rock n roll background to produce the effect of that “every day is your last” mentality.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, don’t sleep on these guys – and if you can, check them out live – you won’t be disappointed!
