Skeletons by We Saw Lions

We are thrilled to share with you the debut single from Boston-based dream-pop-electronica duo We Saw Lions called “Skeletons,” which is also accompanied by a great visual.

We Saw Lions is a creative collaboration between award-winning singer/songwriter, Hannah Lou Woods (formerly¬†Hannah Christianson, winner of the Great American Song Contest-Pop Category, winner of the Lizard Lounge Open Mic Challenge – Main Event, and more…), and producer/engineer/studio owner, Dave Chapman (Ugly Duck Studios). They first became friends and collaborators after traveling to Kenya together to build a recording studio and teach music to children and teens. While there, they had the opportunity to experience a safari, where they first ‘saw lions.’ They used their experiences there as inspiration both for their music, and their name.”

Here’s a bit about “Skeletons”

“I wrote this song one year ago, actually on Halloween, about the challenges that one can face in relationships; when you really love someone, you start to let them see more and more of who you are. Sometimes that brings up fear, but if you can face that fear and allow it to transform you, you can ‘bring it to light’ and see it for what it is, another place within you that wants to be seen and loved.” – Hannah Lou Woods
